The text you paste
Text cleaning, HTML-to-text conversion, and character inspection run locally in your browser. We do not upload pasted text, send it to an AI model, add it to analytics events, or store it in browser storage. Closing or refreshing the page clears the workspace. Copying and downloading happen only when you choose those actions.
Your browser, extensions, operating system, and any application you paste the result into have their own behavior and policies. We cannot control those other applications.
Website delivery and technical data
Cloudflare serves the site and may process connection information such as IP address, requested URL, browser headers, and security signals to deliver and protect it. These requests contain the page address, not the text in the editor. Do not place private content in a page URL. Infrastructure providers control their operational retention under their applicable policies.
Optional Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics only after you choose Accept analytics. The initial site load does not request the Google tag. Our implementation sends a page view with the page title and a URL without query parameters or fragments, and no editor contents. Advertising storage, Google signals, and ad personalization are disabled.
If enabled, Google Analytics processes visit and device information and can set analytics cookies. You can reject it, or change your choice through Privacy settings in the footer. Rejecting does not limit any cleaning feature. We do not enable session recordings or intentionally transmit form contents.
Preferences, contact, and your choices
We save your analytics choice in local storage under gptcleanup-analytics-consent so we can remember it between visits. We do not use that storage for your draft.
If you contact support, the information you send is processed to reply and handle your request. Avoid sending sensitive documents when a short synthetic example explains the issue. Request access, correction, or deletion of support correspondence through the contact page; we will assess requests under applicable requirements.
