What the site stores
The editor does not save your pasted text in cookies or local storage. A local-storage preference records whether you accept or reject analytics. Browser storage is different from a cookie, but either can remember a setting on your device.
Google Analytics cookies
After you accept, Google Analytics may set _ga and a property-specific _ga cookie to distinguish visits. These cookies typically have a two-year lifetime, subject to browser restrictions and Google settings. The tag is not loaded before permission.
Advertising consent remains denied. Our page-view implementation excludes query strings, fragments, referrers, editor text, and clipboard contents. We do not use the site to build advertising audiences.
Change your mind
Select Privacy settings in the footer and choose Reject analytics to stop future analytics events and remove accessible first-party Google Analytics cookies. Clearing site data in your browser also clears your stored preference. A rejection does not undo information that was already sent while you had accepted.
